WHY

Between what the company contracts and what happens on the road there is a gap that rarely shows up all at once. It builds up in five small tensions.

    • Demand-based routing People, addresses, shifts and destinations become stops, routes and departure and arrival times.
    • Scenario simulation Compare route and service alternatives before changing the operation on the road.
    • Fleet, cost and occupancy Compare vehicles by capacity, fixed cost, cost per kilometer and labor.
    • Occupancy per trip Recorded boardings show where seats are left over and where they are missing, trip by trip.
    • Contract and reconciliation Planned and executed mileage sit side by side with what arrives on the invoice.
    • Planned versus actual Scheduled and recorded trips support verification, according to the client's rules.
    • Lines, schedules and ETA on the phone Riders check the line, schedule, map and vehicle arrival.
    • Address and shift validation Coverage checked for employees and candidates, with lookup and seat reservation.
    • Individual boarding control Who was served, at which stop and by which planned identification method.
    • Reports and history Execution, incidents and checks are kept for later consultation.
HOW

Instead of managing spreadsheets, trackers and invoices separately, Merus stitches everything into one trail that starts with the person boarding.

Office desk seen from the seat: hands on the keyboard and mouse in front of an iMac showing Merus.
  1. Know before hiring. During the selection process, the distance from the candidate's home to the route shows whether they fit the route or the route needs to change.
  2. Start with who boards. Quantity, origin, destination, site and shift form the scenario's inputs.
  3. Draw the route before starting the engine. Merus calculates stops, route, schedules and service alternatives.
  4. Size it without waste. Vehicle capacity and costs let you compare scenarios before the operation.
  5. Monitor without interrupting. Trips, positions and boardings record the service delivered.
  6. Verify with memory, not impressions. Planned, actual and billing are linked for review.

The same trail, read by four areas of the company.

  1. Diagnosis We map sites, shifts, employee addresses, the contract and the data the operation already has.
  2. Equipment We sell and install Merus telemetry, or integrate the tracker the carrier already uses.
  3. Data loading Our team registers employees, routes, fleet and contract rules together with your team.
  4. Validation We test routes, boardings and reports with the people who will use the platform every day.
  5. 100% functional We stay with you until everything runs with nothing pending. If the contract provides for it, the Merus team operates it for you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is charter management?

Corporate charter management is planning, monitoring and checking the transport a company contracts to take employees to work. Merus Tracker is software that brings together demand, routes, fleet, trips, boardings and contract in one place, so the company can monitor the carrier with its own data.

How do you audit the carrier?

Merus compares what was planned with what was executed on each trip: route, departure and arrival times, mileage and boardings. Delays, deviations and incomplete trips appear with their origin and history, without relying only on the carrier's report.

How do you check the charter invoice?

The recorded service sits side by side with the contract rules and the charges: planned and executed mileage, trips completed and incidents. Differences appear trip by trip, so the company can review them before paying. Approval and payment remain with the company.

How do you reduce charter costs?

With routes and a fleet sized to real demand. Merus shows the occupancy of each line and compares vehicles by capacity, fixed cost, cost per kilometer and labor, so the company can evaluate scenarios before changing the operation. Results depend on each contract and operation.

How do you build routes from addresses?

Routing starts from employees' addresses, shifts and sites. Merus calculates stops, route, schedules and service alternatives, and redoes the routes when demand changes, such as with new hires, address changes or shift changes.

Does HR know whether a candidate has a route?

Yes. During the selection process, HR checks the distance from the candidate's home to the existing routes and sees whether the transport serves them or the route needs to change, before hiring.

Can the employee see the bus schedule?

Yes, in enabled flows. The employee checks the line, schedules, nearest stop, map and the vehicle's expected arrival. Accuracy depends on the equipment, connectivity and project configuration.

Do I need to replace the trackers?

Not necessarily. Merus has native integrations with the main telemetry hardware and uses what the carrier already has when the technical assessment confirms it. If the fleet has no equipment, Merus sells telemetry with installation included; loan and rental options are coming soon.

How does implementation work?

In stages: operation diagnosis, equipment or integrations, data loading, validation with the people who will use it and support until the system is 100% functional. The Merus team loads employees, addresses, routes, fleet and contract rules together with the company's team.

Does Merus operate the system for us?

It can, according to the contract: the Merus team handles routing, monitoring and checking on the platform. The transport itself, with vehicles and drivers, stays with the contracted carrier.
