Passenger lookup reaches the press

On January 8, 2026, the newspaper A Voz da Serra reported new Partiu features in Nova Friburgo. Among them was a lookup for bus locations, the lines serving a stop and arrival predictions. The article gave the address etafriburgo.merustracker.com.br/consultapassageiro to access the tool.

Portal Multiplix also covered the announcement, on January 7. Its story included a link to the same lookup and noted that the tool would be improved. Both publications place the passenger experience within municipal transport and make it possible to verify the connection to the Merus domain.

What this information offers passengers

Checking the vehicle's position and the prediction for a stop helps organize the trip to boarding. They are complementary pieces of information: location shows where the bus is; the arrival prediction estimates when it may reach the chosen stop.

In Merus Tracker, this experience is part of web lookup and ETA. How passenger information is configured depends on the data and scope of each operation.

The relationship with Merus Tracker

The evidence presented by the stories is the use of a Merus address for passenger lookup. The news also covers top-ups and other Partiu services, but that coverage does not attribute the execution of those payment services to Merus.

The carrier remains responsible for operating the buses. The platform's role, in this context, is to make information available to those who use transport. Also learn about Merus's approach to public information and public management.

In public transport, the same logic supports public transport oversight: trips, kilometres and subsidy.
