  ## Information that reaches the stop

What the contract promises can also reach those waiting for the bus.

## Every transport contract begins with a promise.

Merus helps each party keep theirs: who waits at the stop, who decides, who checks, who pays and who operates.

FOR THE PUBLIC

## Knowing when the bus arrives changes the day of those who depend on it.

With Merus, the city shows the predicted arrival of every bus. Riders plan when to leave home, wait less at the stop and gain time for the rest of life.

Leaves home when the 204 is 9 minutes away, not 40 minutes before.

Waits seated and only gets up when the bus is arriving.

Knows when to leave to drop the child at school and get to work.

Checks the line on the phone and runs only if needed.

Every stop and terminal shows the predictions for the lines that pass there.

Finishes coffee at home and leaves at just the right time, without rushing or waiting.

On the way home, sees the next bus before leaving the construction site.

**In the app or the browser, on any phone.** All Merus Passageiro features are in the iPhone app, the Android app and the browser. Use whichever you prefer, without missing anything.

### The nearest stop

IN THE CITY

## This is already happening, in a real city.

In 2026, the press of a city in the interior of Rio de Janeiro state pointed to Merus passenger lookup three times: at launch, at the expansion and on days of delay.

### Waiting without knowing when the bus comes.

In Nova Friburgo, passengers reported delays and difficulties getting around. The operator pointed to traffic congestion as one of the main causes of delays on the city's lines.

### Information for those at the stop.

The Merus lookup began to show lines, bus locations and arrival predictions. Using the phone's location, passengers could also find nearby stops.

### The information reached the public.

A Voz da Serra and Portal Multiplix pointed to the lookup in their stories. On days of delay, it was presented as a way to follow the trip.

CITY CONTROL

## Step into the room where the city government sees the whole city.

Merus designs, supplies and installs the Operational Control Center: the LED wall, the workstations, the equipment on the buses and the platform that ties it all together. Those who decide on transport get to see the whole city, live.

Tap again to go back

- **The whole city, on a single screen.** Fleet, trips, cameras and transport incidents, live on the CCO wall.
- **Every bus, on its line.** The position and speed of each vehicle, with the deviation marked the instant it happens.
- **Every trip, checked.** The time and mileage of each trip, side by side with what was scheduled.
- **Who is on board, right now.** Artificial intelligence counts the passengers on every bus and every van.
- **Nothing goes unnoticed.** Delays, deviations, crowding and vehicles with no signal reach the operator as soon as they happen.
- **Merus designs, supplies and installs.** The wall, the workstations, the equipment in the vehicles and the platform that ties it all together.

CONTRACTS AND SUBSIDY

## The contract goes in. The amount to pay comes out.

Attach the contract as it is. Merus AI reads the parameters, you approve each one, and from then on subsidy, penalties and scorecard are calculated automatically, trip by trip.

*Ilustração: Reconciliation statement for the period. Valores de demonstração.*

- ### The contract, as it is

PDF, scanned or Word. Merus AI finds compensation, fleet, tolerances, penalties and targets, always next to the source clause.
- ### You approve each parameter

No value enters the calculation without review. The manager confirms or corrects each parameter, and the decision is recorded with date and responsible party.
- ### The calculation closes by itself

Kilometers, trips and delays measured in the operation go through the approved rules. The amount payable comes out with a reconciliation statement, trip by trip.

WHAT MERUS DOES

## From GPS to payment, Merus does the math.

Five oversight jobs for public transport, done by the platform and always with a path back to the contract rule.

- ### Checks the route of every trip.

  **Actual**

The route driven sits side by side with the scheduled one, by line, operator and period, with divergent segments highlighted.

  Uses *GPS and telemetry* *Timetable*
- ### Reconciles trips before closing.

  **Reconciliation**

Operation and oversight records are matched to find discrepancies before the month closes.

  Uses *Operator systems* *Oversight*
- ### Applies the contract's penalties.

  **Scorecard**

Rules for delays or incidents become deductions, with performance and contractual risk tracked by operator.

  Uses *Contract rules* *Incidents*
- ### Calculates the subsidy for the period.

  **Subsidy**

Compensation by fleet and mileage, with the contract's fares and penalties, consolidated into the amount for the period.

  Uses *Fleet and mileage* *Fares*
- ### Links each boarding to its trip.

  **Boardings**

Validation and boarding events are associated with the corresponding line, vehicle and trip.

  Uses *Validators* *AI cameras*

STARTING POINT

## Everything your agency will ask before starting.

The questions of those who contract, oversee and report on transport, answered by those who implement Merus.

**We start with the contract and the sources your scenario already has.**

1. **Diagnosis** We map jurisdiction, contractual instrument, lots, operators and the decisions that need evidence.
2. **Sources** We assess operators' systems and equipment and install Merus telemetry where it is missing.
3. **Rules and loading** Our team configures the contract and loads lines, schedules and fleet together with your team.
4. **Validation** We test measurement, alerts and reports with oversight and internal control.
5. **100% functional** We stay with you until everything runs. Public information goes live when the public body authorizes it.

The operators already have GPS on the buses. Do we need to install anything?

Not necessarily. We have native integrations with the main telemetry hardware and assess the operators' systems. Where equipment is missing, we sell and install Merus telemetry.

Does Merus calculate the subsidy?

It applies the rules your contract defines and shows the path to each amount. There is no universal calculation: the rule is the instrument's, and the decision stays with the agency.

FAQ

## Frequently Asked Questions

**How do you oversee a bus concession?**

Merus Tracker compares the contract schedule with the recorded execution of each trip: times, itinerary, mileage and fleet. Trips with no record, deviations and delays beyond tolerance appear with the position, time and source of each data point, so oversight can analyze them and record the decision.

**How do you measure the mileage driven?**

Merus Tracker calculates mileage from the trips recorded by the project's sources, such as trackers and operator systems, and places it next to the scheduled mileage. Validation criteria follow the contract, and each difference keeps its origin and history.

**Does Merus calculate the subsidy?**

Merus Tracker can support the calculation and review of compensation by applying the rules the contract defines, but there is no universal subsidy calculation. Rules, sources, validations and responsible parties are defined in each project, and the decision stays with the public body.

**How do you report to the court of audit?**

Merus Tracker keeps the history of each calculation: the rule applied, the origin of the data, the validations and the decisions, with date and responsible party. This record supports internal control and responses to oversight bodies; analysis and statements remain with the public body.

**Does Merus guarantee legal compliance?**

No. Merus Tracker organizes rules and operational data within the configured scope, but legal interpretation, jurisdiction, administrative decisions and compliance depend on the public body, the contract and the authorized officials.

**Can citizens see when the bus arrives?**

Yes, in enabled flows. With Merus Tracker, citizens look up lines, schedules and the vehicle's predicted arrival. Accuracy depends on the equipment, connectivity and project configuration, and publication depends on the public body's authorization.

**How do you control school transport?**

Merus Tracker records each student's individual boarding using the identification method planned in the project, linked to the trip and the vehicle. Purpose, access, retention and data protection are defined with the public body, in line with the LGPD.

**Can operators' data be used?**

It may be possible when there is a legitimate basis, authorized access, technical feasibility and quality. Merus Tracker has native integrations with the main telemetry hardware and assesses operators' systems, APIs and files; no specific integration is promised before that assessment.

**What happens with personal data?**

In Merus Tracker, purpose, necessity, legal basis, roles, access, retention and security are defined for each scenario. The technology does not replace LGPD obligations or the assessment by the responsible public body.

**How does implementation begin?**

Merus Tracker implementation starts with a diagnosis: jurisdiction, contractual instrument, decisions that need evidence, available sources and responsible parties. Then come sources and equipment, configuration and loading, validation with oversight and internal control, and support until the system is 100% functional.
